Do You Remember The Tryout Emotions?

Can you believe that March is here!?

That can only mean one thing... that high school spring sports are upon us and it is time to go put on a show! Do you remember tryouts?

I remember approaching tryouts in high school as the "small kid", the "not big enough" or "strong enough" kid. I remember the nerves or excitement, and the fear of not being good enough. I remember walking out onto the field, looking to my left and right at all the ballplayers that we out there... instantly comparing myself to everyone else on the field.

But I also remember locking in... flipping the switch and focusing on what I could control.

I couldn't control how BIG they were, but I could control how BIG my heart was.
I couldn't control how FAST they were, but I could control my HUSTLE.
I couldn't control how POWERFUL they could hit, but I could control my BULLDOG mindset.

I had to STEP INTO the ballplayer that I wanted to be.

You may be in the same spot. Walking onto the high school field for tryouts for the first time. Nerves might be fluttering and thoughts flying through your head.

GOOD!

That means you care. That means your body is getting ready. The emotions aren't a bad thing... it's what we do with them.

You will pause.
You will breathe.
You will remember...

You have been consistently putting work in this offseason to prepare for this moment, and now it is time to shine!

You have prepared Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually... and now it's time to UNLEASH!

Go out, and lock in on the things YOU CAN CONTROL, and show the world what you got!

THIS is what Cherish the Challenge is all about!

You ARE ready.
You ARE prepared.
You WILL do great!

Snap that band, and let's get after it!

Much Love and No LUCK needed! You earned it!

We are so fired up about high school season and watching all of our athletes have the opportunity to shine on the field! This is what we have been training for all offseason!

With that, we want you to know that the training doesn't stop here! NOW is when it matters most!

Undoubtedly, schedules with practices and games will get a little tighter, but we will work with you to ensure you continue your training so you can stay strong, powerful and most of all healthy!

One of the main concerns people have with In-Season training is that they will become tired and will be too fatigued, risking injury. Quite the opposite is true. With in-season training, we adapt our programs so that you will be preventing injuries that occur because of long seasons.

We focus on Recovery.
We focus on Mindset and facing the challenges that WILL come.
We focus on Maintaining your performance numbers.
We focus on Mobility and Body Care.

This is why the BEST athletes in the world continue to train in season. Even the Olympians were training DURING the Olympics to ensure they were at their best on the World Stage!

The hardest part will be MAKING the time for it. Yes, it will be difficult at times, but we are here to walk alongside you on that journey. We will work with your schedules, however flexible they need to be! We want to make sure you are at your best, when your best is needed most!

Refuse to settle and fall into the trap of thinking you can't make it happen. The number 1 thing we hear from athletes when they return (if they have stopped) is that they wish they would have found a way to keep training.

Refuse to settle. YOU are an Overcomer!
