SINCE 2016, Crucible Performance has been training and coaching athletes and adults to overcome the challenges and obstacles they face in all aspects of life. Crucible believes in physical, mental, and spiritual well-being for all. The adaptive fitness program provides group and individual programming designed with physical, mental, and sensory needs in mind but still pushes beyond comfort to increase physical and mental strength.   • Crucible Performance Adult Training

    PRIVATE SESSIONS

    Our private personal training offers adaptive athletes 30-60 minutes of undivided attention to accomplish their fitness goals. Athletes are led by one of our coaches through a predetermined list of exercises. Our coaches are skilled and know how to adapt and modify exercises that best challenge the athlete without compromising the intention of the exercise. Crucible coaches are passionate about finding the best exercise, style, and routine that accommodates the athlete’s wants and needs. Crucible Performance is equipped with disability education that allows them to better understand each athlete with disabilities and best serve them in their fitness journey.

  • Crucible Performance Adaptive Training

    SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING

    Our semi-private personal training offers similar individual benefits as private coaching but provides an opportunity to work amongst peers and build community. Semi-private training offers individualized workouts tailored to the athlete’s needs but encourages autonomy and independence in the gym. The semi-private training allows adaptive athletes to fully immerse themselves into the gym community and workout amongst peers without disabilities.

    Our experienced coaches lead semi-private training sessions to provide athletes with high-level coaching. Group-led warm-ups and cool-downs encourage social participation while being physically active. During the individual portion of the training, athletes are expected to be independent but are not left to fend for themselves. Our coaches closely monitor each athlete during the training sessions to provide assistance and modifications to help each athlete complete their workout and find their flow.

  • ADAPTIVE GROUP TRAINING

    Our adaptive fitness groups encourage optimal social and physical development. Athletes are encouraged to motivate themselves and their workout partners to achieve their goals and push their bodies to get stronger in a low-stress environment. Mental health is one of the biggest contributors to building a routine. Crucible Performance strives to maintain an inclusive environment conducive to building confidence and strength, allowing athletes with disabilities to feel their best and authentic selves.

    Our adaptive fitness program also promotes peer mentorship and inclusivity through group-led workouts open to all athletes at Crucible Performance, with and without disabilities. True inclusivity is found when all athletes feel comfortable and confident when entering Crucible and completing their workout. Our adaptive/inclusive group workouts promote social participation alongside peers of all ages, with and without disabilities, in fun, physically demanding circuits, activities, and exercises.
